Since 1954, Mungo has redefined the South Carolina landscape with forward-thinking development and innovative construction for generations of families.
Mungo Construction was born in 2002 from a desire to take those decades of experience and provide cost-effective solutions for developers and subsidized housing and help fulfill the American dream for families across the Palmetto state. It is our firm belief and commitment that affordability need not preclude quality and workmanship.
Edward (Ward) Mungo currently serves as the President for Mungo Construction where he oversees the day-to-day operations.
Director of Operations
Emily currently serves as the Director of Operations, where she is responsible for all operational and back-end functions of the business, ensuring the organization runs effectively and efficiently.
Vice President of Construction
Bob began his building career in the trades when he started framing custom houses at the age of 13 in 1978.
Rich has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. After starting in the heavy equipment industry, he joined the family business building turn-key homes and later, the industrial side of construction where he gained invaluable experience in scheduling, estimating, and negotiating multimillion-dollar projects.
Greg Herald started his career after leaving Atlantic Christian College to work for the family business. He has over 40 years in the construction industry.
Rachel currently serves as the lead estimator. She has been in reconstruction, disaster restoration, property management, real estate investment management, and retirement communities’ management for over 25 years. One of her trademark skills is managing multiple disaster rehab projects through solid relationships with trusted tradespeople by creating smooth workflows, prompt responses, and on-time completion.
As an enhancement to your warranty program, we have also enrolled your home in the Front Line Warranty Service (FLWS) program, administered by 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. FLWS will be the point of contact for all of your warranty service requests.
